The Collector Memorial Hall Committee is very pleased to announce that their project, Improve the Emergency Features of the Collector Memorial Hall, has been approved for further funding. The funding has been secured through the Bushfire Local Economic Recovery (BLERF) Fund. The BLERF is jointly funded by the Commonwealth and NSW Governments.

The project, Improve the Emergency Features of the Collector Memorial Hall, has been approved to receive an additional $359,967.00.

This is great news as the committee will now be in a position to complete the exterior of the building and completely renovate the kitchen. In keeping with the areas renovated in 2023 fireproof cladding and double glazed windows will be installed on the eastern and southern exterior of the building.

Collector Hall has again expanded its facilities, to now include storage cupboards for the bathrooms, thereby completing the refurbishment of the bathrooms.

The funded project entitled, Bathroom Cupboard, has provided a storage cupboard for the new bathroom area. The cupboard will store bathroom supplies and cleaning equipment in one convenient location. This project, together with previously funded projects, has contributed to the work of finishing our new bathrooms.

The Committee sincerely thank the Collector Windfarm Community Trust Fund for their ongoing support.

Community members, especially those aged 65 years & beyond, are invited to an information session & afternoon tea. Come along & be informed of the medical & ancillary services available in your community.
