About Collector Hall

Collector Memorial Hall is situated in the village of Collector NSW.

The Collector Memorial Hall is central to the local community, serving a range of purposes including community events and festivals, private functions including weddings and parties, community meetings, and as an emergency evacuation centre for members of the local community.

We warmly welcome all people to come and enjoy the services the hall offers to the local community and visitors, whether through the regular community social groups that take place there or by booking the venue for your own private or public event.

Community Services available at Collector Hall

A community nurse, who services over 65’s, is available at the Hall. Information and appointments can be made by calling Gunning Community Care on 4845 1166 ext 2 or 3.

Ownership and maintenance of Collector Memorial Hall

The Collector Memorial Hall was built by the community, and is still owned and funded by the Collector community. The Hall and adjoining Poidevin Park remain community owned and maintained by volunteers. All funds acquired from venue hire benefit the community and are used towards ongoing maintenance of the hall.

Hall refurbishment updates (2023)

Major refurbishment projects at Collector Hall are funded by grants from our generous supporters and sponsors. Recent upgrades include:

  • new male + female toilet facilities
  • accessible toilet facilities
  • public Wi-Fi
  • paths and ramps to allow access for all
  • emergency showers
  • designated disabled parking
  • painting the interior and exterior
  • air conditioning
  • media equipment
  • 20kw solar grid with 45 battery storage
  • double glazing insulation
  • covered tiled veranda area
